Hey Guys, I am back with a new personal environment project. I have been playing Skyrim and Elder Scroll Online (ESO) for many years, and I decided to do a series of fan art for my favorite game.
So I notice that in the ESO there are Akaviri style gears (Like traditional Japanese armor) but not much of the buildings, so it's kinda like an area that hasn't been explored much. I set the background in Vvenderfell because there are volcanos and giant mushrooms that I can make a lot of interesting shapes. I also imagine those Akaviri people living inside the city as vampires, since we have a vampire theme in the last few expansions in ESO. With those elements combined together, the design should be very interesting and unique.
The Space Requiem project I did earlier this year, was like a combination of Medival Style+Scifi+Dark Souls. Now I am much more fluent with the method of combining different elements I learned from Joon Ahn.
Special Thanks to John Park for the guide, he taught me those photo-bashing techniques and how to deliver concepts quickly. With his approach, my process becomes much more efficient and professional. John is a very knowledgeable and experienced artist, check out his mentorship class if you are looking for advanced training or advice. https://www.brainstormschool.com/jp1
I will do a series of exterior and interior environments later on, maybe even characters if I have time. You can find earlier update on my Twitter: https://twitter.com/yuhong_ding
